Brampton Christian School Cleaner
Part Time Position
Summary of the Position
Part-time cleaner needed for a private school located in Caledon, Ontario.
Responsibilities: Will perform cleaning duties which include: cleaning / sanitizing classrooms, (some lifting, climbing required);
floor cleaning; mopping; servicing washrooms; moving small furniture; operating cleaning equipment.
Candidates will also maintain a co-operative working relationship with the Principal, maintenance staff,
academic and support staff and all other members of the school community.
Hours of Work: 5 hours/night, beginning at some point after 4:00 pm (flexible).
Requirements: Candidates must possess:
• Grade 10 or approved equivalent education.
• A good command of written and oral English
• A proven ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous and tactful manner with a commitment to customer service
• A good work record including a record of reliable attendance and punctuality
• Knowledge of Health and Safety issues relevant to the role of Cleaner
• Physical ability to perform Cleaner duties
